This summer of 2017 marks the 50-year anniversary of an

 amazing social phenomenon that took  place in 1967. 

Known as “The  Summer of Love,” more than 100,000 people

congregated to the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco.

 They became known as “hippies,”  the flower children with love

and peace as their focus.  Love should also be what we as

Christians are known for!

 .God’s 10 Commandments are an expression of His character, which

is love. (I John 4:8 b)  In fact, Jesus once summed up the 10 

 commandments as quite simply love to God and love to humankind. 

 In this message series we will look at each commandment from the

 perspective of it being an expression of loving God and loving others.
